Modul-System unveiled new products at the CV Show 2025

-

At the Commercial Vehicle Show 2025 in Birmingham, UK, Modul-System presented several new innovations focused on improving safety, efficiency, and connectivity for vehicle fleets.

Smart security locks with Modul-Connect integration

Visitors were introduced to Modul-System’s latest smart hook locks, developed to enhance vehicle security. Fully integrated with the Modul-Connect platform via Bluetooth, the locks allow users to check lock status (locked/unlocked) in real-time through the mobile app, web portal, or in-vehicle display.

This solution demonstrated how remote lock monitoring can help reduce incidents of unlocked vehicles caused by human error and improve overall fleet security.

Smart-Floor – a lightweight floor with non-slip surface

The new Smart-Floor, weighing only 5.1 kg/m², was showcased as one of the lightest flooring options on the market for commercial vehicles. Its non-slip, high-traction surface and ergonomic design make it ideal for weight-sensitive installations.

The surface has been developed and tested to ensure a reliable grip in both dry and wet weather, making it suitable for year-round use.

The floor is installed using H-profiles, allowing for expansion and contraction due to temperature variations without bulging.

Visitors also saw how Smart-Floor can be paired with the crash-tested Smart Floor Bracket – a drill-free mounting system that simplifies the installation of vehicle racking. The system is smart, safe, and easy to install. The Smart Floor Bracket is compatible with OEM wooden floors as well as alternative materials like plastic flooring.

Modul-Connect on the vehicle's infotainment screen

Modul-System demonstrated the latest version of the Modul-Connect app. Regardless of vehicle brand, the app can be mirrored onto the vehicle's infotainment screen.

Renault vehicles running Android Automotive have access to a native Modul-Connect app that replicates the mobile app interface. On other platforms, the app is mirrored via Android Auto or Apple CarPlay*.

Visitors experienced how drivers can manage connected equipment directly through the vehicle’s screen, using an interface designed to meet safety standards for readability and ease of use – reducing distractions while driving.

e-Power, e-Inverter and e-Heater

The show also marked the launch of three new products: the e-Power battery pack, the e-Inverter, and the e-Heater.

e-Power and e-Inverter are modular solutions that can be combined to meet specific requirements. The battery pack is available in multiple variants, including the Xtreme version, which is ideal for cold climates.

By pairing a battery pack with the appropriate e-Inverter, users can create a tailored power solution.

The electric heater comes in two models – 1000W and 2000W – providing reliable heating without the need to idle the engine, enhancing comfort and reducing emissions.

All three products are fully integrated with Modul-Connect for seamless monitoring and control via the app or web portal.

A successful event

Modul-System’s stand attracted strong interest from fleet owners, converters, and OEMs. Live demonstrations showed how the new solutions work together to create safer, more efficient, and smarter vehicles.

Modul-System extends a sincere thank you to all visitors and partners who helped make the CV Show 2025 a great success.
